I find that I've stumbled upon a wonderful group of people who are so far out of my league when it comes to gardening and all things flowers that I must withdraw from your company. I thank each of you for your kind greetings, and especially for helping me identify the sweet little flower that grows on my son's backyard fence.

Am so sorry you feel that way. We are all learning all the time and all started at the beginning. I still feel like a beginner. Big hugs, and remember we aren't just about gardening. We share everything.

What a shame. MK. It was nice to have met you though.
Do you think that one of the other non-gardening topics on the forum would be interesting to you?

Hi MK, one of the defining characteristics of this forum is that we accept all skill levels and no gardening question is too simple. I hope you can reconsider because we'd love to have you around :stew1:

Yes, What Frank said. You should reconsider....

I kept house plants for years but knew absolutely nothing about outside plants. I really still don't know allot.

I have learned and enjoyed this group more than anything else in the world.

Sometimes I get so busy I have no time to post even though I would like to. They are very forgiving about that. Sometimes I get pm's just to make sure I am ok....They are all very caring.

So, if you have any real interest in any kind of plants or gardening you should hang around and get to know us better.

MK what a shame you haven't given a chance to see that we don't mind how unskilled you are about gardening, or anything else. for that matter We are all friends here and it doesn't matter how little we know. The best thing about our forums is that everyone is accepted here and we become like a worldwide family. I do wish you would change your mind and stay with us.

Without exaggerating, I learn something new here everyday... And get great ideas from seeing what the others are growing... and how.
And no matter how basic of a question is asked here... no one has EVER made someone seem "out of their league"... we all learn from each other... beginner to accomplished.
So, I agree with the others and hope you'll stick around. :stew2:

I learn a lot here, too. I'm over 70 years old and am still learning about gardening and what to grow when. I love seeing the pictures of what others are growing and learning about they way they do it. Please, don't stop yet!

Don't leave us, please. We have husbands as members and they don't garden at all so you don't have to be an experienced gardener to belong here. Gardening is not a situation where after a few years you know everything about it, it is a continuing learning experience and we each learn something from other members daily.

If you don't read about gardening, we have a Jokes and Games forum with some really good/bad jokes, a cooking forum with wonderful recipes and bunches of others.

We have a sister forum just for women too that you might find interesting.... http://www.auntiebel.com/
