The farm market on the town square starts tomorrow. I hope the farmers are ready. I've spent all week getting things ready. Sewing, pricing it and sorting through things. dr has the truck loaded with the tables and awning for hanging the aprons. I guess we are ready. My left knee is acting up today. Guess I did too much yesterday. I picked green beans, wax beans, banana peppers, one zucchini and one tomato. That little one that I posted a picture of got ripe but it's not too big. I picked the rest of the snap peas. Pulled the vines and fed them to the goats. We already ate the green beans. The rows are short. I need to get some more stuff planted. dooley
Can't wait to hear how the first day of the market went. I'd be willing to bet your booth was the most popular!
Have fun at the market tomorrow, sell lots of stuff. Looks like you will have nice but warm weather. Jerry
Great news, Dooley! I can detect the excitement in your posting. Soirry to hear aboiut that knee. Perhaps you can sit and keep it propped-up inbetween sales. I'llbet that if Carolyn reads this posting of you, she will be feeling an itching to get started on her markets too. Anyway, good luck to you and your man.
Sjoerd, I am itching to get started, but I need to wait on the crops to get ready and the gardens for people to get itching to get their plants in the ground. I have had a couple of early birds here at the greenhouse and was pleased that a few of them were new faces. :-D The only things I have ready right now are strawberries, lettuce, asparagus and the greenhouse stuff.
