I was reading a copy of the AARP magazine today and found an article about a group that pair up veteran Farmers with young and not so young military Veterans who are interested in becoming farmers or ranchers or starting a plant based business.

The home page has a map of the U.S. with links to Veteran owned farm businesses.

There is one Dallas area farm run by two vets who grow organic veggies for sale and to supply restaurants. They also provide help in setting up a home veggie garden.

Love the name of their business!!

Sounds like an excellent idea to me Toni. Their are groups here that involve veterans with PTS and they really benefit from growing plants and find it rewarding and stress free.
