Father Christmas - Swedish style.

    I found this and as our very own garden gnome lives in Sweden I thought you might all like to see it. :-D

    This is the Swedish Santa (yes even Santa's a gnome) and his helpers being pulled along by a goat (note no reindeer.)

    And as they say in Sweden 'God jul to all.' :-D

    Frank diving a goat! I love it! Frank in a one goat open sleigh! It is a pretty picture though. But Santa looks a lot older than Frank! :headbang:

    Thanks Eileen we now know what Santa looks like in Sweden.We also enjoy seeing the goat instead of a bunch of reindeer. :D

    I lied all along. I am actually gearing up to deliver presents to the whole of Sweden as we speak. I have been rumbled and the photo proves it :D

    But truthfully I did not know that Eils. What I had been told is that presents are given on the 24th and a member of the household (usually the father) dons a Santa outfit and pretends to be the man himself. On the 25th there is a tradition at 3pm to sit down in front of the TV and watch a hour of Disney cartoons ;)
