Father Ted aka Dermot Morgan was a comic genius not unlike Basil Faulty aka John Cleese his humour and reverence to convention will be hard to surpass. Mrs. Bugs bought me all the series for Christmas . In Merrion Square in Dublin there is a chair in his memory . he is very sadly missed, the rumour is that Steve Martin is going to play Father Ted in the new USA series ,Ar dheis De go raibh a anam .
