Well what a busy time since she's come to live with us. She has learned her name, sit, come, ball, give, fetch (sort of), no bite (for the most part) and she's only had 4 'accidents' in the house. I really do think I should have named her Velcro. I cannot go anywhere, and I do mean anywhere, in the house or yard without her being underfoot. A gardening companion for sure.
Is Penny your little puppy? Can you add that picture of her. I think Penny is in your "my garden". Barb in Pa.
FBG it sounds as though you've made a friend and companion for life. I'm so glad to hear that little Penny is settling in so well with you and is so quick on the uptake when it comes to her training. Christmas is going to be so much fun with her around!!
She is indeed a new puppy, and is in my garden. And will be digging in it come spring. I'm a bit of a Luddite when it comes to this technology and such. We have a digital camera somewhere, and the missus knows how to use it. Me, not so much. Eileen, she is indeed quick on the uptake. Much quicker than I. Murphy was 15 when we had to put him down. I didn't realize how much I had missed an active, engaging dog until we got her. She does have some serious health/genetic issues that will need to be addressed. I wouldn't give her up for millions. Try to take her, and my angry sixteen stone would be in the way.
Awww that means I'll have to ditch my idea of stealing her away from you in the dead of night then. I guess there's no way your going to accept the bribe I had in mind either. Oh well back to the drawing board.
Such is luck for you. I might could be encouraged to bring her for a visit though. Genealogically speaking, my folks come from Fife, Ayr, Ross, and etc.
She is probably like "Velcro" because you saved her from that awful place and she doesn't want to lose you
Ditto to what Stratsmom said! Pups sure can give you LOTS of love in return for just a tad bit of attention... and food... and a cozy place to live... and then more attention!
Have your passports ready and once you get here you can go visit your relatives for a while. I could take care of Penny for you. No promises that we'll be here when you get back from seeing your folks though.
