    Sharon, beautiful blooms.
I think the only thing I miss about Florida is the Bougainvilla. There was one the color of yours climbing all over the front of the house we were renting.

:D Bougainvilla are strong little suckers they grow back no matter what you do. Wish I could have one but because of the amount of thorns it has I can't :( . Still blooming here all over town just beautiful colors :) .

This particular bougainvilla almost bit the dust. It did not come back this spring. I was doing a booth at the flea market and needed a pot of dirt to display a totem in. Since this pot was pretty compacted I decided to use it. I broke the bougie off about 8 inches from the bottom, looked dead, not green like it should be, threw the pot of dirt in the trunk, and used it for the totem. Got home and, of course, took the pot out set it aside. About a week later we found a really strong shoot coming out from the trunk just above the dirt, then another and it took off. Didn't flower as heavily as usual, but hey, it's a survivor, so I'll keep it.
