Yes, I did make the quilt, but when we lived in upstate NY. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to quilt in Texas--all that warmth on your lap! Feliz is female, as are almost all calicos. She is 10 1/2 years old, having come to us on Christmas Day in 1999. She was a starving stray, wandering down the alley, and we tempted her into the yard, fed her, and she decided we were trainable as servants and has ruled ever since. Best Christmas present we ever had!
