Here is my spring arrival of fern leaf bleeding hearts and snow on the mountain.. In the background is the red hens and chickens.. It all comes back yearly... Also has some columbines in it later. Enjoy..........
lovely bed...it is wonderful when it kind of takes care of itself and we only have to do marginal weeding. It looks so lush!
Looking good, B. That's a lovely combination. Things are well and truly on their way there now, it looks like. Keep those pics coming!
I like those plants combined...here our snow on the mountain is very invasive and hard to get rid of if you want to remove it.. I have had hens and chicks in different colors, one of my many favorites..Great picture..
Thanks Gang, All those plants were given to me.. Long ago. I never did know what the bleeding heart was till a few years ago, when I found them in Gurney catalog.. Fun time for me here. Long wait too.
speaking of snow onhe mountains. I have a very lg group of it that I am going to attempt to move today, along with some lilly of the valley plants. We have an open house (party) coming up real soon and I need to get the yard in order and looking nice.
not selling. My 19 yr old graduates from school this year. June 6th will be his graduation open house. I want the yard to look nice.
Lovely Bleeding Hearts Barb. We call the other stuff Goutweed here and it's impossible to get rid of. Be careful it doesn't kill your Bleeding Hearts!
