Fighting nature is NOT easy!,..it seems natural to a cat to sit in a flower basket,..flower pot,..or container,..be it empty or full of a plant or plants you have cared for.

It seemed the logical deterrent to place sharp strong wire in the center of my Saxifraga hypnoides 'Densa',..despite the fact it TOOK from the natural appearance,..below with Saxifraga hypnoides on the right.

You've been outwitted by a furry little bundle of fluff Philip. Best to just give in and accept that your cats enjoy the garden as much as you do. :D :D

With nature primarily in our gardens what can you do but make sure we all get to enjoy it. Looks like you arevvery successful on that front. The kitten is just too cute!

Cats will be cats and if there is a desired spot to lounge you have little recourse. Unless you can make it seem like there is a spot you 'do not want' the cat to call lounge heaven. They do watch your activities....it was the wires...the cat thinks the wires are for him/her.

:D A very comfortable perch for a little sweetie. Lucky for you that those saxifraga obviously can take a beating.

One of them must be the 'ringleader' of course the others do not want to be left out. You should grow some catnip, then it may become the 'cat's area.'
Cute picture, great for a caption.
