We've got spring! Temps went from icy cold up to 22°C/72°F in just a few days, and I went from wearing wool underwear to shorts and T-shirt in the same period of time. :D

What I really like about spring:

And we've got blooms. They're popping out like mad now, since they've had to contain themselves for so long.

Our Corydalis were short-bloomed this year due to the sudden heat.

The Sanguinaria canadensis lasted for two days only:

    S. canadensis "Plena" is still blooming:

    This Meconopsis is very early:

    The Trillium pusillum is up:

Our Primula auricula are blooming too, here are a few of them:

    Jeffersonia dubia:

The Fritillaria meleagris have been allowed too much freedom. I need to relocate them:

We've got wood anemone blooms too. This is Anemone nemorosa "Virescens". It's all green. Can you see the bloom?

    A. n. "Greenfingers":

    A. n. "Monstrosa":

And a blue one that I can't remember the name of:

The white and the blue Glaucidium are doing well:

That has to be all for tonight, I need to sign off and sleep.

    Excellent pictorial display, miss.
You really have outdone yourself this time.

The Glaucidiums loos stunning and that Meconopsis....Tch! Yours bloomed before mine this year. I only have fuzzy little leaf bits above ground at the moment....The Corydalis and wood anemone's are doing well though.
    Your anemone's look smashing.
I really do keep rolling through your pics again and again.
    Great post, meid!

So glad you got some spring at your house. Feels good, doesn't it? Those animals are sooo cute and of course the flowers are wonderful. Thanks for showing them off.

Beautiful pics Droopy! You can relocate that Fritillari Meleagris right in my yard! How old is that stand of them? I left mine at our old house, should have dug some up :-o Think I must order some after seeing yours!

Oh boy spring really has sprung in Norway. Lambs always bring springtime with them. I'm so pleased for you Droopy. All that colour must be a real boon after the winter you've had. I just hope you don't get the hailstorms, torrential rain and high winds we've had over the last few days. My poor plants are all flattened. :( You have so many beautful flowers that I'd like them to keep flowering for weeks yet for you.

Thanks all. I'm so happy we've finally got proper spring weather. :D

Sjoerd, this particular Meconopsis is very early. The rest of them are still fuzzy leaves. ;-)

waretrop, it feels very good! :D Now all I need are more hours in the day, we're way behind on all things garden.

stratsmom, I'd give you a good-sized lump if you were here. They've been self-seeding for at least ten years and are getting a bit invasive.

Oh, eileen, I'm so sorry for your plants. :( We're in for some heavy rain on Tuesday. South Norway's got flood warnings. Hail storms are rare up here, but I think the rain will put an end to some of the blooms.

Thanks cherylad. :D I love to watch those lambs' antics. I must be one of very few adults who stand outside the field awww-ing and laughing at them.

    Thanks Calin. :)

Netty, we're going to have rain and lower temps for a few days, starting tonight, but I always hope. 8)

Thanks Mrs. Galeassi. :D Since your garden flowers are my house plants I guess most of our garden flowers won't like your climate. :D
