Thursday we had rain, wind and tornadoes bouncing around. Luckily we didn't have the tornado real close. They had a small one touch down about 30 miles from me. But we did have some flooding from the rain and the snow melting. The only snow I have now is where we piled it up and where it is shaded. But they are talking about some more snow on Tues. But today the sun is out and it's 45 F at 9:30 am.

We got a rain storm too, but unfortunately we still have lots of snow. Enjoy your day Capt!

Well Captain, you certainly deserve some better weather!
Hope the predicted snow doesn't arrive, and the melt slows down enough to keep flooding to a minimum.

It's 55 F here now at 3 pm. My driveway is ice and snow free for the first time since New Years!

Hip hip hooray! It is wonderful to feel the warm sunshine for a change. We still have a bunch of snow here (in our yard since it is so sheltered) and piles and piles of snow still melting that freeze on the driveway each night, but it is a welcome day! Probably won't be here for long, but it was welcome none the less.

Our snow is mostly gone except shaded area and where plows piled it up. Our river are bank full and overflowing but no major flooding. We are to have rain, snow and changing back to rain overnight. I am more than ready for spring. wannabe

It was 70's here today with sunshine and no rain or snow. I have 17 daffodils in the front and 37 daffodils at the end of the house. Some snapdragons have buds. Spring is probably here. I'm thinking of hoeing up the flower beds and planting those seeds I bought last fall.

There is hope after all. I sat on the deck and drank a glass of wine tonight. In my winter jacket. The stars were beautiful and it felt like the beginning of spring.
