We are getting rain! Yahoo. This is the first rain in over a month. It has been raining for about 2 hours and looks like it could go on for a couple of hours more. A nice and easy shower. But not enough to keep the birds away from the bird feeder!
Glad you have it. We had lashings overnight and at dawn time but it dried up to be a lovely afternoon. However, the ground here is still very dry.
We've had plenty of rain lately (more than the average for this time of year) but this afternoon we were caught in the middle of a hail storm with gale force winds!! Stepped out of the car and had to wade through three inches of water at one point. I'm glad you got the rain you so badly needed CK but I'm beginning to wonder when it will all stop here.
It just doesn't make since, we get all the rain, and just a little ways over, get none. Well our clouds are heading east, so we'll tell them to stop by and visit.
We've had snow and rain this week. The weatherman says next week will be a wet one. Saturdays forecast calls for torrential rain and strong winds. I've had enough rain this year and will gladly send some elsewhere!
Please send some rain to east Texas, Capt! We got the cool weather, but not the rain that was suppose to preceed it! Loving the weather. Lots of people burning leaves and it smells so good!!
Ended up with abouy 3/4 of an inch of rain with more coming on Monday. I am going to burn one of the brush piles since everything is damp today.
