I have been chasing this guy/gal for over a month, around the yard trying to get a pic of him. The males and females are alike in looks so I have no idea which this is. We are in their area of habitat, but the bird book says that it is rare that you will see one. I have a pair nesting in the tree out in front of the house. Everytime I get ready to snap a pic, they fly off just as I push the button. It is a Redheaded Woodpecker.
