We have sunshine for the first time in a week! Still cold, only about 40 deg. F, but the sun sure looks nice!

Sunny here today.Has been fairly sunny all week.Nippy out but typical fall. I was out yesterday enjoying the sunshine.I need to get out & make a little map of my new Liliums,in case the tags get lost.
Planted 6 red & white parrot tulips. Bulbs were huge!
Tulips should be good next spring. They like it dry in the summer.

While I roast in the blinding sunlight of November over here... Sure, many of you will think, how can November be so hot and sunny in the Northern Hemisphere?

Well, I guess that is how things are always in Karachi (which is just 1 degree above the tropic of Cancer)! All throughout the summer, it was always hot and humid over here. Now however, it is just hot and dry (thus very dusty too).

Although in a week to 10 days the temperature will go down into something that I'll consider bearable. But what I really am wishing for, is some overcast skies, and perhaps a little rain too...

But on the flip side, clear skies at this time of the year also make for some great astronomy in the tropics! :D

No sunshine here yet. I've lost track of how long it has been since I've seen it. I think it was a week last Tuesday so that makes 11 days. I'm lacking vitamin D so I hope it comes out SOON!
