My mater has been in the ground for a month and a half. The first 2 weeks, it had a bloom and tomato form. Then the spring turned cool. I have had more bloom, but no maters formed. This week has been in the high 80's and low to mid 90's. Now I have a total of 6 maters on it. My early girls have turned into late maids.
That's great Capt! I just noticed I have tomatoes on my plants too! Seems a early for me, and I also have a few small cayenne peppers.
I have a few tomatoes on my better boy tomatoes, and some jalapeno peppers on that plant. So far, they are all doing fine, just kind of pokey. I received a few more tomato plants that were root bound, but they are in the ground now and ought to soon recover. I now have 15 tomato plants, and I hope they do well. Glad yours are finally getting around to bearing fruit Kirk.
