It is now 7:55 pm here in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area of north Texas and there are large snowflakes falling from the sky.
Not supposed to be more than 1/2 to 1 inch by morning but could be more or could be less.

It's a good thing that wannabe finally got out of that hospital and reconnected with her luggage today if it's going to be snowing up there. It's not rainy here but it's very windy and cold. I hope it warms up some tomorrow.

Okay, it's 1 a.m. and this is what we have now in the backyard. The wind is blowing so hard the front yard the snow is not accumulating like it is in the back yard.

Hurry up and fertilize, Toni. :D I love wet snowfalls when I need to fertilize. And rather you than me, sorry. :D No, I didn't mean that. I'm just tired of our snow.

woo hoo!! welcome to our world Toni! Like Droopy said,,,fertilise! fertilise now! or use this to get rid of big roots you do not like and want gone. the soil will be very soft after a big wet snow. It sinks in not roll off like rain does.

If you need extra snow,,,ask Droopy,,mine is finally melting! lol. Sorry Droopy:)

Wow, you have really had a unusual winter...like most of the planet! This time of year there can be extreme changes in a matter of hours...hope yours will be improving soon. Ours is going from sunny & warm to cool & rainy. Except for pansies my new purchases are staying in their containers so they can be put in the garage if necessary.

Who ever would have expected this, Toni? Has it ever snowed there this late?

The weather radar shows more coming for us, might have a little more accumulation before the day is over and if the temp doesn't get much above freezing it will hang around until tomorrow when the temp goes back up into the 60's

On March 21-22, 1987 we moved into this house, it was colder than a well diggers back pocket on the 21st and snowed lightly all day on the 22nd. We have had snow in early to mid March in the past, but I can not remember any snow this late in the month since then.

It was so nice here in the Houston area Sat. morning. My husband and I cleaned the guttering and just finished when a thunderstorm came in and then the cold wind. Today, Sunday, it is still cold to me and wind blowing hard. Suppose to be in the mid 70's again after tomorrow. I can't hardly wait!

So much for March going out like a lamb, looks like it is gonna roar all the way through. Was cold here but no snow just rain. Hopefully april will get back to normal so we can all start planting so we can harvest before November.

March came in like a lamb here in north Texas. The temps will be steadily warming up, over a week to go before April begins...there is a pretty good bet that March will go out like a lion for us.

I don't know what to say, Toni. That snow is sort of troubling to see, I have to admit. ;)
