They say a low of 44 for Columbus in the morning and I am about 40 miles northwest of there. They say we could reach the mid 30's tonight!

Our low tonight is expected to hit 4°C, which is about 39°F. I am not impressed!

I closed all the greenhouses up. We did plant another row of raspberries, so this should help them get rooted in though, but I am not impressed with the temps either.

There has been frost all around us. Missed us though. Happy about that as I still have winter squash trying to ripen.
One garden is cleaned up and sod turned again. He turns the sod in the fall and reworks it again in the spring. Seems to be less weeds that way.

Well, it only got down to 44 here at my house. But I am in amongst the trees, so that helps it to stay a little warmer, as long as there are leaves on the trees. Still chilly in the house this morning!

I hope everyone is able to get their vegetables matured before frost or freezing temps. We have delayed getting frost damage before by either setting a large oscillating fan in the garden (it keeps the frost from settling on the leaves) or turning on a sprinkler before daylight. Of course this doesn't help if it gets below freezing.
