I was watering the glads this morning and noticed something colorful in the middle of a rose bush. A closer look revealed the first rose of the year. It does have a bit of frost bite on one petal but it's pretty anyway. Dooley

Very pretty Dooley. Isn't the first of everything of the year the most special?

What a lovely thing to find Dooley. :-D My roses have a long way to go yet before they flower.

I may be only seeing roses of everyone elses this year. Mine don't look too good. I'm hoping that I am being just too impatient and it's not warm enough for them yet.
