Normally I wouldn't cheer about sunburn but today was so nice to work outside that I don't mind the sunburn I got on my arms. I spent most of the afternoon outside painting chairs, planting blueberry bushes and raking out the flower beds. Supposed to be more of the same for weather tomorrow.

I burn very easily when I work outdoors in the sun, probably because I used to have red hair, take care not to overdo it as sunburn can be very painful.

I had the same thing happen today Polly!
The weather was so beautiful that I spent the entire day outdoors (with the exception of a quick trip to town to buy a new birdbath :) ) And tomorrow is going to be even warmer!

Yup, brown arms and rosy cheeks here in Essex. I do use cream, but still, after a long day gardening, the cream doesn't last and I always forget to re-apply. It is great though to feel the warmth on your skin. I just wish it would blinking rain here! My allotment is like a dust bowl!

My son and I worked out in the yard all day Sat. He got the back of his neck burned , but I didn't get burned at all. I usually just turn brown as a nut!
