    I guess you can tell how I'm frittering my day away here-walking around with my camera and a pocketful of string to tie up vines. Ran into this guy sunning himself on one of my planters. It's early for him.

    Right next to where he is we have several lizard houses for them. They get so tame you can throw them a worm if you're so inclined. 8)

    They're marvelous critters, aren't they Bethie?
    We have several skink buddies around the house here, too.
    there is one that I see pretty regularly in my potting shed,
    he/she will stand and watch quite placidly as I do my chores.

    I wonder if those are like our lizards that we have.I found a little stubby
    tailed brown one yesterday.They are cute little critters.

    We have lots of Geckos here, introduced Mediterranean species. Lots of fat, well fed ones hanging around the back of the house spring thru fall.

    i like lizards myself, so dont the cats,but as a meal,but generally just catch the tail,lol..
