There has been quite ab bit of cleaning up in the flower garden, but it isn't anywherer near complete. You see, there is a veriatable sea of forget-me-nots in bloom at the moment and my partner doesn't want to loose them just yet. I have already removed an enormous amount of them...and they are quite lovely to see, I must admit. Let me show a few fotos now; The Ceanotis bush that was in reality a tree! Clean-up debris of very pernicious plants. They are on the tarp to dry out, then they will be taken home and put in the green containers for the veggie waste pick-up. Here is the side of the new flower plot. One side of the path is planted, the other isn't yet. I have planted some Corydalis elata here infront of the old roofing tile. The tile is to protect the base of a Clematis. These Soloman's Seals are growing like mad, in spite of their more-or-less open place. My partner's little clump of Euphorbia. They have done very well growing from a plant with two small stems: Here is my Euphorbia (doing a little TOO well, actually: The very firse Dagkoekoekbloom (Silene dioica syn. Melandrium rubrum) Finally a general view of the central portion of the flower garden. I hope that you didn't find this too many at once.
I'm amazed at just how much you have achieved in the flower garden Sjoerd when you also have the veggie plot to contend with!! Your ceanothus is beautiful. I think the forget me nots look lovely but know how invasive they can be as I have to pull clump after clump up from my own garden. Thank you for the tour around your garden.
loved your tour of the garden. always enjoy all the differant walkways. Love those Forget-me-nots. Do they spread from year to year? Doing good, keep up the good work.
It's all lovely, even the weed drying there. Can't help but snicker at your Euphorbia. My husband wanted one too, and now we keep pulling it up where it's not wanted. Those forget-me-nots look like a little piece of sea in your garden. Thanks for sharing.
