flower seeds, sterile or not??

    Simple question from me for a change, do flower seeds need a sterile starting soil or not?

    Since you can also direct sow them, I wouldn't think it would matter all that much if the soil was sterile.

    As long as you can tell the difference betwixt the flower seedlings and the weed seedlings which will grow.
