I am growing columbines, and out of the six seeds i planted in a pot, 3 had sprouted up. A fourth has sprouted as well, then decided to disappear. I left them outside for 4 days b/c the weather was nice and i brought them back in today. Tonight i came home and all of sudden this thing has sprouted. (The clover shape ones are the columbines)

I assume you are referring to the pink thing in the foreground weigro. That is really weird, almost as if a root has sprouted the wrong way :D Will be interested to see its progress.

the pink thing was a paper clip used to support the flower, the bright green plant is what i think is a weed, and i am curious to find out what it is

I bet in a couple of days it has a tiny white flower on it. It looks remarkably like the weed I get in a lot of outside seed pots. Having a senior moment and cannot remember the name for the present, but it has long thin seed pods which explode sending seeds everywhere, at the slightest touch!
