    Hello everyone!
I need an ID so I can tell people what I have in my garden.
A year or two ago I got a very small rooted cutting from a lady in the UK and she told me it was supposed to flower in pink and fragrant blossoms.
The small tag also said "DAPHNE".
Now, it's never bloomed yet, but about 2 weeks ago I saw the first small bunches of buds at end of branches.
Winter's been mild so far but it starts getting colder, and snow and I'm afraid this will kill the buds before they open and this might be the end of the blooms (if it just blooms once a year).
PLUS... I don't live near the garden and I can only go there once a week so I can't monitor the blooms.

    ANYWAY... too long a story!
Here are the pics. I know it's a daphne, I just don't know which ONE! Lots of daphnes are similar in description, pictures...
    Anyone, any idea?

Hello Zinnia. Thanks for the effort.
I am not fully convinced. The one you suggested seems to have different leave shape and even color. You'd know if you were staring at my plant everytime you pass it by (I DO)
Leaves on mine seem lighter in color, not so much variegated and they are not that long and thin. Mine are kinda fatter/rounder.
But it's still a small plant so it has time to develop and finally look like the ones in the pictures google showed me.
    We'll see...
    THANKS AGAIN!
