I took my camera out this morning, looking for something on this nice sunny day. Surely there must be something growing or coming up. I finally found a bush that is showing some signs of spring in the air.
I think it is flowering quince. I posted a picture of it last spring when I didn't know what it was and I think that's what I was told.
It looks like a collection of sticks right now but just look at the buds coming out.

I wonder how much longer it will be before the flowers come. I will keep watch on it for sure now.
Nothing else was found that could be called buds or flowers. I think that cold spell retarded things a bit. I wanted to take my rake and rake out the flower beds but decided since it's suppose to freeze again on Friday that it wouldn't be a good idea, just yet.

It looks like a pink-flowered one. Do you plan to try making the jelly this year? ;)
Well, this is a true sign of spring, you lucky thing.
