I did not post too many flowers last summer. :-( Tomatoes, turkeys and stuff from 30,000 feet but few flowers. I saved them for the dead of winter. At least 1/3rd of winter has been spirited away. So Here are some summer flowers. :)

I'm so glad you saved these photographs until now Jerry. Everything here is covered in snow so it's really lovely to see your beautiful flowers. :D

I really like azaleas but too hot to grow them nicely here, they really struggle with the humidity.I enjoyed yours though....thankyou.

What is the daylily with the large light colored center? A Munson variety, perhaps.

sNs, there are 8 daylilies, most are from seed. The cultivars depicted are Rosy Returns(photo 7) and Heir Apparent(photo 9) all others are from seed. Of note, photo 5 has 'Summer Solstice' the oldest 'from seed' daylily and as the name says it opens on or about June 20th. Lately however, it has been opening up earlier. Last season it opened on May 23th. The flowers reflect the changing climate.
