Here are some pictures I've taken recently in the yard: Calibrachoa That hardy amaryllis out in the front flower bed Dianthus Impatiens Iris Petunias Sea Daisy Here's my daughter's dragon kite. She flew it at school last week on "kite day" We had some rain a few weeks ago & shortly afterward, got mushrooms. My daughter put some of her fairies on one At school, my daughter's class grew grass in soil in an old sock. My daughter's cat was interested in the thing. My daughter also had to make a model of a wasp for her insect work. I helped her select pine cones, paint & glue together. The body is 2 ppine cones, waist is a dried stem from a four o-clock, the legs are smaller foour o'clock stems, the antennae are spent bloom stalks from salvia, the head is a pecan and the stinger is a thorn from a palm frond! The wings are plastic & the big leaf is cardboard.
That's a lovely bee you've made. Well done! I really like your blooms, those iris has me drooling. Delicate colours.
Your amaryllis is gorgeous and I do love impatiens. You and your daughter did a grand job on the wasp - very inventive using the pine cones. :-D
YOu and your daughter have a lot of cool projects going on there! Your iris are beautiful. I like that sea daisy too. Aren't you lucky to have fairies in your garden too! Love your daughter's art project, bet she had fun making it with you!
gotta love the kite as my daughter likes to fly them also. those Petunias are something else (lovely). Bet your daughter had fun with you making her wasp-how creative.
Well there is certainly a lot of color in your yard WTxDaddy! The fairy's on the mushroom is just too cute! And your model of the wasp...how creative!!
I had to pop in and look at your lovely blooms again. Our wind should be just right for that dragon today.
