Here's my daughter's dragon kite. She flew it at school last week on "kite day"

We had some rain a few weeks ago & shortly afterward, got mushrooms. My daughter put some of her fairies on one
    [IMG]

At school, my daughter's class grew grass in soil in an old sock. My daughter's cat was interested in the thing.

My daughter also had to make a model of a wasp for her insect work. I helped her select pine cones, paint & glue together. The body is 2 ppine cones, waist is a dried stem from a four o-clock, the legs are smaller foour o'clock stems, the antennae are spent bloom stalks from salvia, the head is a pecan and the stinger is a thorn from a palm frond! The wings are plastic & the big leaf is cardboard.

Your amaryllis is gorgeous and I do love impatiens. You and your daughter did a grand job on the wasp - very inventive using the pine cones. :-D

I had to pop in and look at your lovely blooms again. Our wind should be just right for that dragon today.

Diseased? Which one? I think if anything, they are just tired. All the blooms are gone now.
