We had winds up to 100 mph this side of the pond,..apart from some leaf damage and a loss of some blooms,..as you can see all is well in the garden.

I'm so glad you didn't get much damage Philip. Those winds were really something weren't they? My son had to tie down his aluminium shed as it was threatening to take off. Apart from losing some flowers, having branches ripped off trees and a few slates sliding off our roof here I think we came off pretty well.

I think it is Incredible that there was not more damage to the plants. It shows the resilience of plants to weather storms. Great photos Philip.

That is very good news, Philip.
I see that you have several Digitalis plants there. I have those in bloomat the moment also...I let them stay wherever they pop-up (in the flower garden, that is)

Your place looks very nice, and almosy tropical.
It is a pleasure to see your plants and garden layout.

    Hi folks,
you know if i constructed something in my garden it probably would have blown down,..but as Jerry said,..it shows the resilience of flowers!.

Sjoerd,..i did the same with mine!,..just left them where they popped up,..i discovered that the ones left alone when grown from seeds were stronger rooted and stronger stems.

Calin,..your garden flower collection is vast!,..and all looking healthy.
