In the late Fall of last year, my BIL told me he heard that the day of the first snow ndicated how many snows you would get that winter season. The snow could be counted if you can see a cats paw print in it. Our first snow was on November 28. I did not keep track of the snowfalls, but every other day it snows. lol. This morning we had another inch. I called this one the "Ivory Snow" snow because it was light and powdery.
