At last here are the wooden chairs my husband built for me. I set them by my pond. I sometimes use them to put pots of flowers in also. garden chair ( photo / image / picture from petunia's Garden ) flower pot chair ( photo / image / picture from petunia's Garden ) small bench ( photo / image / picture from petunia's Garden ) The next few are of the trellis I use for my Clementis plant. It used to be in the garden, last year I moved it to my front yard but it so far seems to be doing good. Take a look. flower trellis ( photo / image / picture from petunia's Garden ) clementis growing on trellis ( photo / image / picture from petunia's Garden ) Thought I had another picture but I've not been able to find it. I will post another pict later as my clementis grows onto its new home.
Very creative! Very artsy-fartsy! I wish I had rustic garden furniture in my gardens. The only 'rustic' I have is a waddle fence for the clematis to climb on. Your clematis is going to look gorgeous climbing on that trellis!
Those look wonderful Petunia, you have a talented husband. Have you thought of sitting some pots down inside of the chairs?
Those look great Petunia and I look forward to seeing your potted plants on them. That trellis would look great in my garden!! :-D
Those look really good, Petunia. I especially like the trellis. I'm so delighted that the Clematis took. it's going to look smashing there. I can't wait to see that trellis covered and full of blooms.
I love the chairs Petunia! That gives me an idea I made a couple of similar trellis's last year-here is one And also an arbor - this part of the garden is still under construction
looking great there Netty. Our trellises are almost the same. What vines do you have growing on your trellis and arbor?
The 2 Trellis each have a Clematis. The arbor has an "Aunt Dee" Wisteria. I was trying to train it as a standard but it has been SO slow growing that I have given up. It seems to be growing a little quicker now that it has something to climb on. This is year 4 and I'm still waiting for a bloom.
Petunia -- Thanks for sharing these -- The chairs are JUST wonderful..!!! I remember when I asked you about your trellis -- things made of twigs always catch my eye. I am sure they look adorable in your garden! Your husband is a creative fellow and sure knows the way to your gardener's heart, huh? Netty, you've got the touch too! Now where do you folks get all the sticks? Just curious.
DB, we have plenty of woods around us. And we're always taking down branches for one thing or another, usually to get shade off the garden.
