    I think it was Mary that posted a picture of her "Hosta Crewcut" (at least I hope it was :oops: ) Any hoo...
    I have a photo to make her feel better :D
    The earwigs have stripped every petal off my white & blue lobelia :-x At first I thought it was just the heat but all the other lobelia baskets are fine...

    Honestly, it looks like the heat is getting to it. Mine looks like that once it starts getting hot. maybe this particular plant is more sensitive to the heat than the others or gets more direct sunshine. Lobelia doesn't do well in extreme heat.

    take a pair of scissors and trim off the brown part.

    I thought the same thing Carolyn. I had to trim one of mine back, but the others are OK.
