I only had trouble walking in high heels once when I was in high school, but I didn't fall down just stumbled a bit and grabbed the corner of a desk to keep me from falling. I would be surprised if that doesn't happen more often. They put those young women in outrageously high heels then have them clomp down the runway putting one foot way across the other one as they step. And the models are so skinny, their legs have trouble holding them up.
What's even funnier is the reactions of the news guys - LOL!!! I don't wear any more heel than I absolutely have to m'self, but I do remember being a bit wobbly a couple times in my foolish youth when I bought one pair of heels - never bought anything like that again *snicker*
I used to be able to run in high heels, but that was a long time ago. Now I prefer no heels if I get to choose. My favourite pair of party sandals have inch-high heels, which is quite enough, thank you very much. Since I'm only five foot tall I'm worried about height sickness.
So I'm the only one? I don't even need high heels, I've made an art of what my friends like to call "Bambi legs". I've probably never double stumbled like that, but I have tripped over guitar cords & fallen flat-forward on stage . Those guy's laughs are priceless, but the actual fall made my tummy hurt!
I'm sorry I thought it was hilarious. Reason being,,,,I've done that. lol. Remember the high heeled clogs in America,, ohhh yeah i took a hugh fall trying to be so cool in the shoe store, with the big glass window in front. A lot of people were standing around that window just watching the "mall". I was so embarressed, i bought tennis that day. I cracked up listening to those guys!
Couldn't stop laughing when I saw that video Frank!! Her legs look as though they're made of rubber!!! LOL
I would be screaming workman's comp!!!! And since I have gotten older (and heavier,) my ankles just don't hold up like they used to . . . Poor Girl.
Hay, but did you notice, she didn't spill a drop from that sprinkling can. Rubber ankles and all, she handled that sprinkling can like a true Stewby. Tom
If she had just fallen, it wouldn't be that funny. It was the way her ankles wobbled that did me in. april
