Mart, go get your camera! I want to see cows in sweaters, ugly or not (the sweaters, not the cows.)
Eileen, all the same color so the ladies won't argue over who gets which color. Hens are very fashion conscious.

Netty, we have the oldest chickens for miles. Folks tell me that I need to "cull the flock" and use the old hens for stewing. How could I stew Violet, or Victoria, or Vanessa? As my husband pointed out, these older hens have done their duty by us for several years, and have earned their retirement. Anyway, I enjoy seeing their faces in the morning and giving them treats.
Gosh, I hope they don't see any "ugly sweater" contests or they will want me to start knitting for next year!

No no, Jerry--those are dairy cows. The sweaters will keep them warm and the milk will be of the right temperature to mix in the cocoa! Beef cattle prefer hoodies.

Hmmmm????.....Oh.....I've only seen Angus in the meat counter between aisle 18 and 20 and the dairy is at the back of aisle 1 through aisle 5. Angus meat yes, Angus milk no. I will have to read the milk label more closely.

    Concrete jungle kid,
    Jerry
