I promised to snap some mountain photos, and here they are:

The day was part cloudy with a bit of rain and sun in between:

    The water is the sea:

The fields are yellow because of the dandelion blooms:

The Troll Wall, Trollveggen, had lots of clouds this time:

    Still snow here and there:

    And some gentler landscape eventually:

Thank you. :) The trip takes about five hours if you go non-stop. We didn't and used about eight. One way.

I love road trips like that. But my boyfriend gets annoyed when I need to stop at every corner to take five more pictures.

My husband refuses to stop. We'd never get there if he did. :D We only stop by Trollveggen for ice cream. So I had to shoot through the windscreen.

Those fotos look splendid, Droopy. It is such a pleasure to see your landscape pics.
I find it nice top stop frequently to take fotos or just look. Sometimes on trips like this (when we are taking lesser-used roads), we stop, pull out a small table, a couple of chairs and a thermos of tea and have tea and bikkies while we look.
I appreciate your showing these pics and hope that you have some more.

    Thanks Droopy and welcome back.

Your mountains are beautiful. They are sure different from the mountains where we lived in Arizona. They came up out of the desert and had cactus and scrubby brush on them. but, the higher you got the more they looked like yours. I love mountains. so, here I am living in flat country again. dooley

I can't breathe, that first photo is breath-taking  Just absolutely gorgeous, all of them.
I think I can see Biita running rampant thru the dandelion field. ;)
I really like the Troll Wall too!

What idealic scenery Droopy!! I love driving through our Highlands with their magestic mountains - not too dissimilar to your photographs but without the sea, just lochs, beneath their towering splendour. I could almost feel all that fresh air surrounding me when I looked at your piccies.

    Welcome home. :D [/i]

Stunning - and to think that it is pictures on the go. Droopy you are good. :stew1: Especially since your hubby refuses to stop.

The mountains look so inviting - and best of all - like everyone else I can also see why Bitta loves Norway - All those Dandelion - all the food just growing like 'weeds' hehehe.

Those are some beautiful mountains you have there.
The clouds really add to the drama of the shots.

Thank you all for liking "my" mountains. :) The reason my darling husband won't stop is because the scenery changes with every bend in the road, and there are very many bends on that road. :D

We get a bit used to those mountains and our scenery, so I like to try and view them differently. What will the Stewbies like? So I ended up shooting wildly, and have at least twice as many mountain photos that just aren't as good, breath-taking or spectacular, but pretty none the less. Gotta make a selection, you know.
