An animal shelter is offering a special for Valentine's Day. For a donation of $50 a feral cat will be named after your ex, and then neutered.
Folks, it is for real. Feral cats were taking over in an area, but were keeping the mouse/rat population down. The humane society decided on a catch, neuter, release program, and this "promo" is helping to fund it. I have the feeling the society is going to be rolling in money! The San Antonio zoo has a similar program. For $10 donation you can name a cockroach, for $25 a vegetable, and for $50 a rat. The named creatures will be fed to an appropriate zoo resident. Ain't Valentine's Day fun!
