Poppy, I don't think this is Foxglove - this looks like a new plant I bought this year. Is the foliage very fragrant? I'll have to go find the tag if it is...

I have a plant like this...can't remember the exact name but it is a salvia I believe. I bought it to draw hummingbirds. If it is the same plant as mine, the flowers are about the size of a dime.

I was thinking the flower could be a penstemon, but would need to get a better picture of the leaf.

Karma, My guess is penstemon too, unless it is some unknown annual. Could it be an annual?

The flower reminds me of some type of Mazus or Lindernia. It is definitely in the Lamiaceae family though.

Foxglove, salvia, penstemon, 'some annual', Mazus or Lindernia Lamiaceae family, Common Calamint (Clinopodium ascendens). Pretty funny. We are all over the map.

Poppy--I just looked at some photos of common calamint & the way the flower attaches to the stem looks right, but the coloring is slightly different. Maybe a difference in how much sun it is getting. Does it smell mintish?
