    Hi,
I am looking for a little advice here. we just got finished redecorating our living room. It was quite expensive but overall I am happy with the results.

We replaced our old tv with a new big flat one we picked up at costco. The price was great but it is way too big imo. My husband said we could put a frame around it to make it match the rest of the new decor.

Does anyone have any experience with this? is it difficult to install and clean? any issues with sound?

    Thanks in advance. :stew2:

Haven't done this myself, it should not be too difficult. But as you figured out, if you cover the speakers, the sound will not be very good anymore.

And make sure that the heat can get away, or you might get more problems than bad sound.

Hi jsarah1 and welcome aboard :)

Unfortunately I don't have a solution to your challenge but would like to offer one thing:

Your TV may only be bothering you because you are not used to it. Maybe worth giving it a few weeks and see whether you still feel the same way about it.

    Personally.....
I don't think a TV can ever be too big! :D
