Physical spring finally got here today! It got to 72 F today, so I am free of heating the house for a few days! Supposed to get storms tomorrow and then cool back into the 50's F for the weekend. So I will have to have a fire going in the mornings to take the chill and the dampness off .
Yea!! Us too, we haven't had a fire in the evening recently but have one in the morning. It was partly cloudy and partly sunny today. It was nice to have rain, but I'm ready for sunshine and warm temps. Who needs winter? You had a higher temperature that we did Capt. Dooley
Well I've being switching the heating off during the day as it's much milder here now. Still need it on at night though as it's rather chilly. More rain today but the weathereman says it'll be dry tomorrow - hope he's right!!
Us too. 70's and 80's in the daytime, with 50's and 60's at night. We are due one more frost or freeze by April 14, then we can start setting out bedding plants in western Texas, but will have to wait on some types of seed sowings.
