Fresh pineapple anyone?

    We cut it, my beautifully ripe pineapple. As we were going away for a week with mum and the kids, we thought we would take it with us as a treat. All I can say is, YUM!

    I started a pineapple plant this spring... it's growing but not even close to bearing fruit.
    Your's looks absolutely yummy!

    EJ, that is one of the most lovely pineapple I have ever seen. It is so evenly ripen and I can feel the taste!!! :D I am sure it is really yummie!!Errr... can I have a tiny bit??

    You'll have to fight me over a tast of that pineapple, KK Ng. I like ripe pineapples but the shop bought ones are always too green for my taste. EJ's looks perfect. *drools*

    You could have stuck a straw in it and drunk the flesh it was so juicy and ripe. It took a few years to produce fruit, and it lived in our heated conservatory. So...now we have to wait another 2 or 3 years for the pups to give us some juicy fruit.
