This is the 2nd frog I found this morning! I think they are cute :-D This guy appears to like my hostas as much as I do!!! Frog amongst the hostas ( photo / image / picture from stratsmom's Garden )
Strats--We have a kind of frog that appears every year in our hostas too! It settles into the nook of the leaf just as it joins the stem. Our hostas tend to have a tiny bit of moisture there, so I am sure it is perfect spot for our fine amphibian friends. I will take a photo of it this year if/when one appears & post it. I your frog also at the nexus of the leaf & stem?
Wondering if they eat slugs..... I know when I feed slugs to other things, they spit it out and said YUCK! Barb in Pa.
I don't remember where exactly he was sitting on the leaf. I told him there were cats in this yard so he had better be careful! :-D
It took awhile but we spotted the frog, even being the center of the photo was little help. Lost in a sea of green. You do have a sharp eye. Jerry
