Looking out at the garden from my sitting room you can well understand that the garden becomes part of the house as its only one step into the garden.

Since your garden is only a step outside, I can understand how you can bear to be inside, at least for a while. Those are magnificent photos of a really stunning garden!
(I have to admit my favorite was the picture with Molly, but then I'm a real pushover for pups!).
I remember when you posted about getting the tall ceramic containers. I see you put them to good use!
I do enjoy the tours of your garden. Thank you!

Love how the garden comes right up to your door. Your flowers are superb as usual. I am so jealous of your roses. Mine all hang in there, but have black spot really bad...and I thought I was keeping it at bay until this last few weeks :(

Hi Jane,..sometimes its a curse being so close to the garden,..very often while having a tea break or just looking out i spot something that needs dead heading or propping up,..tea break is postponed and off i go,..sometimes forget to return.

Yes those tall containers are great for planting something scented as they are almost at nose level,..oh Molly is eyeballing through the door,..just for you :D

Hi Jewell,..the scents waft into the house from everything,..in the evenings of late its the Honeysuckle that is strongest,..as for black Spot i had a hit of it of late so you are not alone,..each evening or on a dull day i sprayed the leaves with Neem Oil and Liquid soap,..a spoon full of each in a Pint of water,..it works for me and the leaves turn out healthy and shiny.
