I didn't manage a photo, I was just thinking of getting her food out. The pileated always comes to the deck where I can see her from the kitchen windows. Today she was calling and calling and I was in the office when she came to the front of the house. She took up residence on the roof that is visible from the computer desk. I finally gave in and took her breakfast out. Next time, I'll try for a photo with her there. This is the place where she was and where she usally looks for me.

Kildale, that is soo neat. I wish I could do that with mine. I have been feeding meal worms but the blue birds get them all.I Grow my meal worms in my house just for the birds. It's best to have 7 starts going at a time.
