Unfortunately, we had the same weather here in Michigan. I was running a little late this morning, and ran out to warm the car up (when I should have been leaving) and it was covered in frost. As was everything else!

Let's see, 25 deg F is nearly -4 deg C. Yep, that's winter temperature all right. We're changing tyres now and digging out the car heater. They threaten us with colder weather.

Have fun with that! :p Lawn mowing is a chore I leave for the man of the house. I know what you mean by standing in the sun for warmth though. It's chilly enough here where you even have to go so far as standing still in the sunlight for warmth, 'cause walking in the sun is still chilly.

We had a slight patchy frost here too Barb. My plants seem to be OK except for a few Begonias.

I haven't seen any frost here yet Barb but my guess is that it is just around the corner and won't give any warning.

I hate the killing frost. It takes time to adjust to everything being black and dead. :(
