Got down to 30 F here last night and we had a hard frost. The tv says it will get up to 60 F today, but I kind of doubt it. Stll haven't used the wood stove yet. The 2 electric space heaters in the living room and kitchen are keeping it at 70 deg. I like useing them because they have thermostats and don't use as much electric as the baseboard units.

We're well north of you and have not had a hard frost yet. My impatiens and begonias are still blooming, although the tips of the plants have been hit with frost. It's been a warm fall here so far, which is good for the utility bills! I've had our fireplace stoked up a few times to get the chill out, and filled up the hot tub. We still have to haul wood up closer to the house, but we're ready for the white stuff. Bring it on!!!
