Great pictures!! I didn't know that Assassin bugs could tackle anything as big as a dragonfly.

The orange and black bugs by the way are Milkweed bugs.

I like the centipede photo. Looks like it's all shined up for a night on the town.
Glad to know what those bugs are on the Milkweed. I had some and didn't know if they were good or bad. Now to do some reading to find out!
    Nice set of photos FlowerFreak.

Nice pics. I feel sorry for the dragonfly...and for whatever the mantis is eating :)

Thanks everyone! The funny thing is that all except the last of those pictures were taken with my phone's camera. I don't carry my camera with me when I'm just around my yard. I was just in the right place at the right time.

Eileen - I didn't think assassin bugs could do that either, but I have a feeling that the dragonfly was sleeping and the assassin bug snuck up on it or it just landed in the wrong spot. :-o Also thanks for the ID of the Milkweed Bugs. It makes sense now why they were swarming the Asclepias.

Calin - The mantis is eating a grasshopper.

Love the buggy pictures...especially the mantis and the Skipper butterfly.
