Yesterday they forecast a chance of snow flurries. We ended up with a beautiful snowfall with huge flakes that covered the ground and trees with about 2 inches. The perfect storm no traffic problems, no shoveling...just pretty to look at.

Click on the smilebox I made to share my snow photos. :D

That was a very nice show.

That snow storm was the best kind. Enjoy your winter wonderland.

Lovely photographs Gail. I like the shots of your woodpecker best of all. Those cardinals certainly stand out against the snow and the greenery don't they? The heron and deer shots are really good too. :-D

Thanks so much for your comments. Unlike those of you who get tons of snow, I am thankful for a few inches once in a while. When I lived in NJ & VA we got a lot more snow and I miss it...as long as we don't get too much. Glad you all enjoyed my fun in snow.
Philip the Chrismas decorations are gone but I keep out my snowmen until Feb...they are so cheerful to have around.

Its such a shame the decorations are only left up for such a short time, the effort in putting them up!,and its sad taking them down, mine are still up,i am waiting for someone to call and say, isn't it time you took them down,(nobody called since before Christmas),and that was one of my Christmas wishes, :) .
