At least I THINK it's a game bird!
My trail camera snapped this bird crossing my yard. I have never seen a bird like it and can't find it in my bird book! Anyone know what it is?

Makes me think of a juvenile female Pheasant, they are light beige to brown with spots and streaks of darker color.

Maybe it escaped from someone, cause it looks like our young female silver pheasants. It doesnt look like one from the wild.

I just ask my hubby, the heap big hunter, and he believes it is a young wild Ringneck.

Thanks everyone. I asked a few of my hunting friends and they all agreed it was a young, female pheasant. Now they all want to hunt in my yard!
