A pair of pedestal pots for $5. These are very heavy ceramic ones.

Great finds! LOVE the stools and urns, I would be tempted to paint the urns black or grey.

Those were GREAT finds. Good for you. I agree with Netty... change the color and make them more complementing to your stone work.

I have a trellis similar to that,be sure to seal it well so it doesn't rot in the ground.
I think the red of the urns makes a nice complimentary visual against the grey.

Wow! I am having a hard time believing the prices you paid Tina. You got great deals.

Frank could start a contest! Send Cheryl, Toni, and Tina out on a designated weekend with a certain amount of money, and see who finds the best and most bargains!
There is a "Bargain Hunters" type show in the UK along these lines, but I bet the "Stewie Shopping Spree" would be much more entertaining.
The rest of us could place side bets on who will win. ;)

Toni - I never did this before - so pardon me if my question is very silly. How should I 'seal it well' and what do I use?
    Thanks a lot!

LOL MG! I love the idea having enjoyed myself so much last weekend. ;)

Tina, any kind of weather sealer would work...Thompsons, spray shelac, marine varnish...anything that will keep wet from reaching the wood. Apply after you paint, if you are going to, and it will protect the paint from fading in the sun or pealing off over time. Check at a local hardware store or Lowe's, Home Depot, they will have it.
And some outdoor paint comes with a sealer in the paint so you just paint it and it's protected.

Ok, Toni. I will get one from HD. Thanks.

I miss the dahlias from my old house. The tubers got lost in transition and I still can't forget them. When I found these for $3 from a garage sale a couple of weeks back, I couldn't resist. These are pretty beautiful too, don't you think?

Found a $5 lamp in a garage sale today. It is perfect for my reading area.

Tina I think you've managed to find some real bargains there. I especially like the urns, your lamp and, of course, the Dahlias. :-D

Somehow I can imagine Tina and Toni going on a garage saling spree, and cleaning out all the bargains.
These two are absolutely amazing at what they find, and how they use their finds!

You did good on your spree. I especially liked those two reddish pedestal pots outside your door. They go quite well with the stonework, I find.
