I am happy to say that I have made it to another spring in tact. Winter is trying to hold on to my garden but hope springs eternal. It is early yet but enjoy my view for a day. I wish that my camera could catch the true color of the plants like the wisteria which was the deepest purple imanginable. I hope to share more picks soon.
Those are all lovely! I can't wait to see my lilies again, and the old-fashioned roses. I struggle with catching blues on my camera too, especially the ones with red in them.
Wow, those are all so beautiful, and the way your setting is, looks just so peaceful. Very very nice,, Thank you for sharing your garden!
Gosh Nan your garden is wonderful. So much colour and I love the way you have it set out. I could spend many happy hours just looking at all the beautiful plants and flowers you have.
Gorgeous! I'm not sure I can pick a favorite because they are all beautiful, but I do love the pink Roses and Wisteria. Thanks for sharing.
D2D, everything is so lovely. The roses are luscious. How do you keep them so healthy in your heat and humidity. Do you have the name of the one in the picture above the dianthus?
Cajunbelle, you are in luck that is one of the only roses that I do know the name of it is Fourth of July. This particular bloom was a deep maroon when the blooms are usually a vibrant red with white stripes. There are never two blooms the same on the rose. It suffers from blackspot something awful though. Thanks everyone for the comments. My roses are lovely until June then the southern heat gets them but they do recover for a fall show.
D2D your garden is beautiful. Looks like spring beat out old man winter. We are waiting for more pics!
